The alarm woke me up this morning, that is a rare occurrence in my schedule as I tend to wake up without the alarm. As I lied there praying for my wife, my family, my workplace and giving them up to God today, I got up and started my morning routine. It starts with checking out the daily devotional for the day.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

What an incredible message to start off today. I receive it as God commands it. I accept it to be strong and courageous heading into and living through today. I cling to His loving message to not be afraid and not be discouraged by faith because God promises that He will be with me wherever I go. Wow God is so good!

Drawing Courage from Divine Command

In the midst of the uncertainties and potential conflicts that may arise throughout your day, Joshua 1:9 stands as a powerful anchor and a source of strength. As you embark on your journey today, meditate on the profound words: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9, NIV).

Anchored in Faith: Navigating Challenges with God’s Presence

These words are not just a mere encouragement but a divine command from God Himself. The assurance to be strong and courageous stems from the unwavering presence of the Almighty, who pledges to accompany you in every step of your day.
