Yesterday may not have gone as you had hoped but remember how it was going to be a win-win no matter what? Let go of the pain and the sorrow! Adjust your perspective because today is going to be a great day! Yesterday is gone and there is nothing you can do about it! We have today and we want to thrive, not be stuck in the past or dreaming about the could of, should of, would have been! So today let’s get started with an attitude of gratitude! Let’s not think about the could of, should of, would of but instead let’s choose to celebrate what we have, what we are getting, and appreciate it! Let’s realize the glass is full, it’s always full! Ever considered how the glass isn’t half, or a third, or three-quarters full but rather it is always full! It may be full of air as you take it off the shelf. It may be 95% full of water or milk or some liquid and 5% topped off with air, but it is always 100% full. So we need to choose to focus on what we have rather than what is missing and praise God!

It’s 2022 right? You can be thankful that it’s not 2020 and stuck in lockdown right? Let’s change our perspective and put our focus on where we are at and what we have! Let’s be realizing we have breath in our lungs and so it’s a good day! Let’s be focusing on all the things for which we can be grateful! This is the day that the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Before we jump into today’s content, let’s consider the importance of perspective. Take a moment and what do you see:

Don’t let what you think you see keep you from the reality that with God all things are possible! Let’s grab a hold of the reality that it may be that we are looking at things from the wrong perspective! Consider changing your location in order to get a better view!

The right perspective makes the impossible possible.

Scripture for Today:

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses.

"Oh Father God, I believe with all of my heart that Jesus died on the cross for my sake and has risen from the dead. Lord, I receive Your Word and I repent of my sins. I renounce the past. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I receive my forgiveness. I receive the new birth, cleansed and washed in the Word and in the precious blood of Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit, in Jesus' name. Amen."
