THRIVE: Are you in the zone?

Ever considered what it really means and really takes to thrive? You have to be in the zone! You may wonder which zone. The zone I am talking about is being and living in the presence of God! It means being able to flourish in the presence of God! It means being able to thrive in the presence of God! It means having God at the center of your life! It means you have to have a willing heart! It means you have to have a heart for it because if you don’t have a heart for it, then it isn’t going to happen, even if you pray for it! Remember what the Bible says about believing, it’s a matter of the heart:

‘But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. ‘

James 1:6

So do you have a heart for it? Is God in the midst of it? Are you believing for it? Are you in the zone? Are you ready to thrive?

Are you inviting Jesus into the center to be the core of the rope of three strands so that it will be strong? Are you ready to put Jesus in the center of your life? Are you willing to live your life for God? Are you willing to give from what God has given you? Are you willing to do what God needs you to do with the gifts and talents God has given you?

I am who I am by the grace of God. I am where I am because of God’s goodness. I’ve been made for this and to be a part of His Kingdom’s work. God gave us the ability and now we need to be willing to go and do the work. Don’t disqualify yourself from the future God has planned for you. Lay your heart, your gifts, all you are before God. Let’s have a willing spirit and heart and give it to God and use me.

Today let’s choose to do the work God has given us to do, just the way He commanded!

How do you thrive? You need to commit your life to God! You will get visions and dreams. You’ll find what it is to flourish. If you refuse to soften your heart and give it to God then you will miss out on it all. Don’t have a strained heart – draw near to God instead. Decide to walk with God who wants to walk with you. Joy and breakthroughs in your life come through obedience. A struggle in this generation is that they want everything right now.
