THRIVE: Let your light shine bright for all the world to see!

Just like in the night sky, so much darkness, let’s be like the moon that lights up the sky as it reflects the light of the sun by reflecting the light of the Son into our dark world. Just like how the moon doesn’t have its own light source and yet lights up the night sky, let’s reflect the light of Jesus into the world around us and shine bright for all the world to see! Just like how God created the moon to light up the night sky, let’s choose to light up the dark world in which we live!

‘ “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven. ‘

Matthew 5:14-16

Let’s bring the light with us and transform the world around us! I remember the morning I first saw this visualization of how we can be light and be a transforming power in the dark world we live! Let’s choose shine for all the world to see, not hiding it but allowing it to be contagious and spread!
