We need to trust God to take care of things when we can’t be present ourselves. We need to believe that God’s plans are good and so we can trust Him to take care of things when we can’t be present. We need to give our loved ones into His hands because we know that He loves them even more than we do. So today we will give the keys back and put all our hope and trust in God as we let go and choose to let God take care of the rest. His ways are higher than our ways. His ways are better than our ways. His ways are the only ways for there to be hope and a future.
First with my oldest daughter and today with my youngest daughter. From a pastoral degree to a rescue position. From a D1 school to a ministry school, from the idea of a degree in education to a degree in sports management, with a feeling for sports evangelism. And today, I trust God even more because I know He has a plan for my girls, a plan that is good, a plan that is filled with love, a plan that will give them hope and a future. As we give back the keys and prepare to head home with just the 3 of us and a home that will welcome us back with our dogs, our cats, our donkeys and our neighbors, and God making plans for the future our son will be stepping in and stepping up to accomplish for the glory of God.
