THRIVE: It is better to be healthy and strong than safe…

This morning, as I was praying, the aha moment showed that we aren’t to be limited by fear or trying to play it safe. This morning, as I was praying the reality that it is better to be healthy and robust, comes with the benefits of being able to do what God calls us to do. This morning, another part of my prayer is about being bold and courageous, so when I combine the two, we find it isn’t about playing it safe! It reminded me of the books I’ve read by Mark Batterson titled Chase The Lion and In A Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day and how they changed my prayers as they showed me when it comes to living life to the full which is God’s plan, we need to live with wisdom and discernment and health and protection. So today rather than playing it safe, let’s choose to live life to the full, pursuing God’s purposes and plans for our lives! Let’s choose to live life to the full, completing the good works God has prepared in advance for us to accomplish! Let’s choose to live our lives being healthy and robust rather than hiding or avoiding trying and being safe.

Today’s Verse of the Day:

‘Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. ‘

Psalms 23:4

Let’s Pray!

Prayer Of Salvation
Our Father God, I believe with all of my heart that Jesus died on the cross for my sake and has risen from the dead. Lord, I receive Your Word and I repent of my sins. I renounce the past. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I receive my forgiveness. I receive the new birth, cleansed and washed in the Word and in the precious blood of Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit, in Jesus' name. Amen.
