Ever heard of, seen, or experienced when people are attacking or fighting one another? Ever realized there was a problem at the center of it and instead of attacking the problem, they started to attack one another? Ever realized that the lies of the devil were distracting them from attacking the problem and tricked them into believing the other person was the problem? Ever wondered what you are fighting for? Ever wondered what the real battle is against?
Today, let’s choose to put the problem on the table and attack it instead of each other. Let’s not be fighting each other but instead choose to care and love one another enough to get to the root of the problem and put that problem in the center, on the table, and then deal with it! Let’s realize that the battle, the fight isn’t against flesh and blood but rather against powers and principalities of this dark world!
Are you ready to stop attacking one another? Are you ready to start talking about the problem(s)? Are you ready to start working together to solve the problem rather than attacking each other?
Remember what the Bible says about living at peace with one another? As much as it depends on you, your response to a situation is the one thing that is in your control, live at peace with everyone!
‘Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.‘ Romans 12:17-21
Remember what we learned about a life lived with God? We learned how what may seem impossible, with God all things are possible!
So let’s walk out our today with God in order to live our lives in a position where all things are possible because we are walking our lives out with God! Let’s stop living apart from God in the realm of the impossible and start living with God and experience the miraculous because with God all things are possible!
Are you ready to stand up and attack the problem? Are you ready to put on the full armor of God in order to be ready and prepared? Are you ready to take the battle where it belongs, give it over to God, and walk it out with Him, because the battle belongs to the Lord and vengeance is His!
Today’s Verse of the Day: (Ephesians 6:12)
Expanding to grasp the context when this verse was used and bolding the specific verse below.
‘Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. ‘Ephesians 6:10-18
