THRIVE: Purposeful living makes for a great day.

So yesterday realizing the short time left I chose and offered up family time to my wife and kids. We considered the location and then made a selection and spent the afternoon together playing and having fun. It was fun and getting to watch and see them all play was great. When time is fleeting making the time and being purposeful about how we will live out our lives is so important. When we choose to live purposefully it makes for a great day.

So, where are you today? What purpose do you need to fulfill? What do you need to decide to do in order to make it a great day? What could you do to make it more purposeful? How will you choose to live it so that it will make a difference in the people who matter to you? How will you purpose to live today so that you and they can thrive for the glory of God? We each face choices and get to decide. Let’s make today matter!

Today’s Verse of the Day:

‘Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? ‘

1 Corinthians 3:16

Prayer Of Salvation
"Oh Father God, I believe with all of my heart that Jesus died on the cross for my sake and has risen from the dead. Lord, I receive Your Word and I repent of my sins. I renounce the past. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I receive my forgiveness. I receive the new birth, cleansed and washed in the Word and in the precious blood of Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit, in Jesus' name. Amen."
