Ask God to search your heart. Ask God to remove anything He finds that isn’t according to His will. Ask God to help create a clean heart in you. Ask God to make more room for His things. Ask God to fill it with love to overflowing for from the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. Ask God to create a clean heart in you and to renew a steadfast spirit in you. Let God’s will be your motive! Just as when we pray, ask God for His kingdom to come and His will to be done here on earth as it is in heaven! Lord, I draw near to you for Lord Your Word promises that as I draw near to You, You will draw near to me. Lord, rather than worrying, I put my hope and trust in You Lord for Your Word tells me to be anxious for nothing but by prayer and supplication to make my needs known to You. Lord, change is taking place, some appears to be for good and some I have not been able to discern. Lord, give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and a mind to understand and discern how I should proceed. Don’t allow my heart to harden Lord but help me have a soft heart and a pliable heart and an obedient heart to Your purpose and plan. Keep me from becoming one who has eyes but doesn’t see what is right in from of him. Keep me from becoming one who has ears but doesn’t hear what is being said. Keep me from becoming one who can’t understand nor discern what to do. Help me Lord through Your Holy Spirit to lead and guide me, direct and comfort me, grant me wisdom and discernment to be able to walk out Your plan and Your purpose according to Your will rather than in and through my own strength. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I don’t have room in my heart nor my mind for the lies of the devil and tricks and traps and snares he is attempting to set in place and in motion. I know Lord that what the enemy does for evil, you are able to turn it around and use it for good. I know Lord that with you by my side that even if they plot evil against me and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed. You are my rock and my fortress! You are my foundation and my strength. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! I know and trust You Lord because You work all things for good for those who love you and have been called according to your purpose.
So Lord, I come to You and give my life, my heart, my mind, my purpose, my goals, my hands over to You so that in all things You may receive the praise, the honor, and the glory in Jesus’s name. Amen.

As day 172 of 2020 begins, I would hate to miss giving the opportunity to anyone who hasn’t received Jesus into their lives as their Lord and Savior an opportunity to make the decision this early into 2020 and the blessing to get to live out the rest of 2020 in that power and that truth and that hope.
If you would like to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, why not join me in this prayer?
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and there is nothing that I can do to save myself. I confess my complete helplessness to forgive my own sin or to work my way to heaven. At this moment I trust Christ alone as the One who bore my sin when He died on the cross. I believe that He did all that will ever be necessary for me to stand in your holy presence. I thank you that Christ was raised from the dead as a guarantee of my own resurrection. As best as I can, I now transfer my trust to Him. I am grateful that He has promised to receive me despite my many sins and failures. Father, I take you at your word. I thank you that I can face death now that you are my Savior. Thank you for the assurance that you will walk with me through the deep valley. Thank you for hearing this prayer. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.—The Sinner’s Prayer
Did you pray with me? Would you be willing to leave me a comment so that I can pray with and for you about such an incredible decision? Or if you don’t feel comfortable leaving a comment on my blog, why not email or text me instead?
