Do you know how to fill that empty feeling in your heart? Did you know there is one thing that can fill it?

Ever have that feeling in your heart that there is an empty spot that needs filling? Ever tried to fill it with everything you can find? Ever found that it didn’t fill it up? Do you know what it takes to fill that spot? Do you realize it is like a puzzle and that one piece needs to be added to complete it? Do you realize that the one piece that will complete it is Jesus?

Hole in heart that only Jesus can fill.jpg

Do you realize that God isn’t out there somewhere but He is right here with us? Do you realize that when you turn back to God that He is coming after you? He gave you freewill and isn’t going to force anything on you, it will require a decision, a choice, a turning point where you choose to call out of God and receive Jesus into your heart. When we receive Jesus, we can take hold of the reality of who He is and what He provides for us! With God all things are possible! We can consider it pure joy when we face trials of many kinds! We can take heart when we face troubles because Jesus has overcome the world!

January is in the rear view mirror

With January in the rear view mirror, let’s reflect on what we have learned in the past 6 days as we meditate on God’s Word this 7th day. Do you have any highlights or insights from what we have read in the past 6 days? What connections have you made or can you make in relations to our readings from God’s Word? Have you made time to speak with God through your reading time? Have you made time to speak with God as a part of your daily schedule? Are you prioritizing God enough that He gets prime time with you? Have you missed the mark this week and need to turn back to God and confess it and ask Him for forgiveness? Have you taken time to thank and praise Him for the forgiveness that has already been paid for through the blood of Jesus? Have you taken time to thank Him for all the other blessings in your life? Have you taken time to thank Him for all the answered prayers? Do you have any worries? Are you taking hold of His promise not to worry but to give it up into His hands? Let’s ask God for wisdom and guidance for this day! Let’s put our trust in Him!

If you are interested in getting together or sharing the information together, please let me know through the comment section below, through email, or even through text messages.

Today’s reading from God’s Word – the Bible comes to us from: (I have chosen to use NIV

(I have chosen to use NIV translation, but feel free to choose whichever version you feel more comfortable with)

All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.

John 6:37

As day 56 of 2020 begins, I would hate to miss giving the opportunity to anyone who hasn’t received Jesus into their lives as their Lord and Savior an opportunity to make the decision this early into 2020 and the blessing to get to live out the rest of 2020 in that power and that truth and that hope.

If you would like to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, why not join me in this prayer?

Prayer of Salvation
Oh Father God, I believe with all of my heart that Jesus died on the cross for my sake and has risen from the dead. Lord, I receive your Word and I repent of my sins. I renounce the past. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I receive my forgiveness. I receive the new birth, cleansend and washed in the Word and in the precious blood of Jesus. Fill me with Your Spirit, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Did you pray with me? Would you be willing to leave me a comment so that I can pray with and for you about such an incredible decision? Or if you don’t feel comfortable leaving a comment on my blog, why not email or text me instead?
