What if you don’t understand? Will you ask and question? What if you get an alternative would you give in or stand firm? What if you ask the questions and make your case and they still reject it? What if you they talk down to you or try to make you feel less? What if they reject the truth and replace it with their own version of reality? What will you do? Where will you turn? How will you know? What if today or tomorrow happen to be that day of challenge?
Will you start your today by putting on the full armor of God?
13Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.— Ephesians 6:13-17
Will you start your today by praying and asking God to give you wisdom? Will you allow the Holy Spirit to give you a peace no matter what happens? Will you allow the Holy Spirit to give you direction, discernment, and wisdom? Will you stand firm? Will you trust God through it all? Will you resist the lies and attacks of the devil? Will you receive both the protection of the armor and the strength and power that comes through the Word of God?
What if you get the call? What if you get selected? What if you get the news? What if it takes praying and fasting? What if it takes asking others to join you in the process? What if it is a family matter? What are you going to do?
Today’s reading from God’s Word:
How would you respond if they rejected you? or your ask?
How would you respond if they refused or wronged you?
How would you respond if they respond in a way that seems to despise you?
Will you ask wise advisers for input?
Will you seek justice and mercy?
Will you live out as a servant leader?
Will you show mercy and kindness to others without scheming?
Will you receive the promised blessings from God?
Will you put God’s will and God’s plan before your own?
Will you turn to God and do what He asks of you?
Nothing is impossible for God! What may seem impossible with people is not impossible for God! With God all things are possible.
Let’s be strong and finish the task put before us!
How far are you willing to go to make sure the right thing happens? Are you willing to appeal the decision?
Will you warn people if you sense trouble ahead? Will you share this with them in order to save their lives?
How will you respond if they won’t listen? How will you respond when the casualties you warned of happen? How will you respond?
Will you already be with God or will you still be in tribulation when the time comes?
Will you be undecided or even outright rejecting Jesus throughout the tribulation and have to deal with the related troubles? Will you be deceived from the truth? Will you be consumed by it? Will you spend eternity with God or will you spend eternity apart from God, tormented day and night forever and ever?
Is your name in the book of life? Have you decided to receive the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ? Or are you willing to deal with the consequences? Are you willing to deal with the judgement for all the things you had done or not done?
‘And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.’— Revelation 20:15
Will you exalt God? Will you praise God and His greatness? Will you pass on to the next generation all that God is and has done in your life? Will you proclaim His greatness? Will you sign for joy? Will you thank God? Will you glorify Him through sharing examples? Will you share how God’s promises are true and trustworthy? Will you call upon the Lord and be saved?
So where are you at today? My hope and prayer is that You will ask Jesus into your heart so that I will get to spend eternity in God’s presence with you. Are you ready for forgiveness and peace? Are you ready for a hope and a future? Are you ready for a transformation where the old is gone and the new has come? Are you ready to being the journey of knowing right from wrong? Then let’s pray together to invite Jesus into your heart and your life so that His peace which surpasses all understanding can guide you and comfort you, protect your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. If this is the first time you have prayed to invite Jesus into your heart, leave me a comment so that I can rejoice with the angels in Heaven.
