How do you handle the change? How do you prepare to start over? How do you close out the finish of the previous in order to move forward with the new?
As I ask all these questions, I think of the verse from 2 Corinthians 5:17 which says:
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!— 2 Corinthians 5:17
Be it a change in your physical, emotional, or spiritual life, how will you get started? Will you turn to the manual for life? Will you turn to God? Will you ask Jesus? Will you ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and direction? Will you ask the Holy Spirit for peace and comfort through the transition? Will you be rejuvenated and excited as you step up and step into this new season?
Today’s reading from God’s Word comes to use from:
- Nehemiah 7:5-73
- Ezekiel 47:13-23
- Ezekiel 48
- Acts 24:10-27
- Revelation 18:1-10
- Psalms 139
Will you answer the call God puts on your life? Will you pursue the idea He gives you?
Consider the instructions He gives you to accomplish this task. Even if it seems larger than you are able, trust Him. Learn from experiences like the moments when I was given the options of doing what God said or be nothing and receive the call.
Receive what God has for you and what He has prepared in advance for you.
He has gone before us preparing in advance the good works He has for us to do.
He goes before us preparing a room in heaven for all of us who choose to receive the gift of grace through Jesus Christ.
Be prepared to give an answer for the hope that is within you.
Be prepared to give an answer for the hope you have.
Be prepared to give an answer for the joy that is in you.
Submit to the authority put over you.
Serve others with the authority you have been given so as to be a servant leader following Jesus’s example.
Don’t be tempted into committing sin, resist the devil and He will flee.
God knows, so you can find rest in Him. Pursue Him and His will for you.
So where are you at today? My hope and prayer is that You will ask Jesus into your heart so that I will get to spend eternity in God’s presence with you. Are you ready for forgiveness and peace? Are you ready for a hope and a future? Are you ready for a transformation where the old is gone and the new has come? Are you ready to being the journey of knowing right from wrong? Then let’s pray together to invite Jesus into your heart and your life so that His peace which surpasses all understanding can guide you and comfort you, protect your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. If this is the first time you have prayed to invite Jesus into your heart, leave me a comment so that I can rejoice with the angels in Heaven. If this is a re commitment to Jesus, leave me a comment so that I can rejoice with the angels in Heaven. If you are still questioning or seeking, don’t go it alone, feel free to leave me a comment so we can discuss it.
