I remember going to church growing up. I remember going through confirmation while still in university after feeling God calling me to do it. I remember going to church for a while before fading away because things were too busy. I remember wanting to get married in a church. But the reality of Jesus didn’t become real until I was 31 when I had the aha moment that it isn’t about rituals or routines, it is all about a real living relationship with Jesus! Inviting Him into my life and then spending the rest of my days with Him! Making time in the morning to spend with Him and in His Word. Making time to go to church because I want to (and the reality is I was busier and am busier now than I ever was when my excuse for not going was that I was too busy). I life is so busy that I need to go to Church and I need to spend time with God in order to be filled up and ready for what each day will bring. I’ve come to realize He has a plan for me that includes giving me a hope and a future! I’ve come to realize that God loves me so much that Jesus sacrificed Himself on the cross to reconcile me no matter the mistakes of the past, no matter the mistakes of the present, in order that my future will continue to grow closer to Him and to become more and more like Him! God is good! All the time! All the time! God is good! God is Love! Interchangeable and hence you can replace the Word love in the verses from 2 Corinthians 13 and work to try and become more like Jesus so that we can put our name in their one day and know which areas we still need His help in.
God love you! God so loves you that He sent Jesus to pay the ultimate price to make a way for you to be reconciled back to Him and provide a road to Him!
We are precious to Him! His desire and His plan is for us to receive Jesus so that we are able to spend eternity with Him! His desire and His plan goes beyond that in wanting us to spend time in building an intimate relationship even before that while we are still here on earth. He loves us so much that He has given us freewill to choose.
God’s Word – The Bible is a love letter to us!
So will you choose God? Will you choose to invite Jesus into your life? Will you choose to let God be a part of your life? Will you choose to allow Him to be LORD of all your life?
God is for you, not against you! – Romans 8:31
His love is so great that we could even be called children of God! – 1 John 3:1
If today was going to be your last day, would you still put it off or would you open the door and receive Him into your life?
THE CHOICE IS YOURS! CHOOSE WISELY! CHOOSE LOVE! CHOOSE GOD!
