Will you celebrate the triumph?

Ever gone through a really tough situation? When you make it thru do you celebrate it? Are you able to then use that as a catalyst the next time you face a trial to motivate you to not give up? Are you able to consider it pure joy when you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance? Are you able to consider it pure joy when you face a new trial because you know that when perseverance finishes its work that you will be mature and complete, not lacking anything? Do you share your story and allow the testing to become your testimony? Do you share your story and allow your trials to become your triumph? Will you use ingenuity and determination to make it thru and then be able to share your story so that you can speak  hope and life into the lives of the people around you or that get the opportunity to hear it?

A while back some people at work asked me if I could share a story. It couldn’t be about work and was to help others get to know me more. I had to be about a time in my life where something happened and then how that changed things. I had 4 stories that came to mind that I could share as God has gotten me thru many a trial and many a test and so I had several testimonies and triumphs to share. So I asked them for their opinion based on the titles I gave each one and here is the one I shared with the room full of people and got approval to get to post it up onto YouTube so that others could hear it and be encouraged.

So where are you at today? Did you make it thru and need to celebrate the triumph? Are you in the midst of it and need a word of encouragement to not give up? Are you about to walk into it but not realizing it yet? Either way remember to turn the tests into testimonies and the trials into triumphs for the glory of God!

Needing an even bigger example where people in the moment considered it a tragedy but later were able to celebrate the triumph? What about someone who was dealt the situation of being mistreated, unfairly, and with injustice to the point of being put to death? What about someone who turned that around after giving up their life on the cross defeated the power of sin and death in order that we could find true forgiveness thanks to His love and then be able to celebrate His triumph which reconciles us back to God! Yes I am talking about Jesus … our greatest example for trial to triumph!
