Do you realize you are in this position for a purpose?

Do you realize you have been put in that position on purpose for a purpose? Do you realize that it wasn’t an accident or a coincident? Do you realize that just as God said that He would bring you before leaders, there was a purpose and a plan? Do you realize that those skills, those gifts, and those talents given to you by God were for a reason and that because of them you will have divine appointments? Will you be God’s hand extended? Will you be His voice into various situations? Will you ask God for wisdom so that you know what to say? Will you ask God for wisdom so that you know what to do?

Do you realize the timeline of God? Do you realize what parts have been accomplished? Do you realize what parts are yet to come? Do you realize the number of prophecies that have already been accomplished? Do you realized the number of prophecies that are yet to come? Do you see the signs of the time? Do you see what is taking place around you? Do you realize how many were accomplished by the birth of Jesus? Do you realize how many were accomplished by the sacrifice of Jesus? There are some in the Old Testament that were fulfilled during the Old Testament! There are some in the Old Testament that were fulfilled during the New Testament! There are others that are yet to come, the appointed time!

Do you know God? Will you align and obey Him? Will you receive God’s wisdom and share it with others? Will you stand against lies and stand for the truth? Will you glorify God in all you say and do? Is your name written in the book of life? Have you asked Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior?

Do you realize the end times is spoken of both in the old and the new testament? Today’s reading speaks to it in Daniel 12…

The End Times

1“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. 2Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”
5Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. 6One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?”
7The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.”
8I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”
9He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
11“From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
13“As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”

–Daniel 12

Don’t lose hope! Don’t give up! Persevere! Trust in the Lord with all your heart! Lean not on your own understanding! In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight!

Jesus is the way! the truth! the life! Nobody comes to the Father except thru Him! Turn to Jesus! Invite Him into your heart and your life! For all those who call on the name of Jesus will be saved! Don’t wait till it is too late! Why not now as we prepare to celebrate His birth thousands of years ago this Christmas season! Jesus is the Christ in Christmas! My hope and my prayer is aligned with God’s purpose and plan! My hope and my prayer is that people will hear the good news of Jesus and be saved! God is not slow as some may defined it, He is long suffering and wants that nobody would perish but that everyone would be saved! Jesus was sent to save the lost! He didn’t come to condemn the world, He came to save it! He will come back and when He does that will be the end and you don’t want to be too late and have spend eternity apart from God rather than with Him! So choose now, choose quickly so that you too can be saved! Let not your heart be troubled and end up like those who missed out on getting to enter the promised land!

1Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
2Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
3For the Lord is the great God,
the great King above all gods.
4In his hand are the depths of the earth,
and the mountain peaks belong to him.
5The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.
6Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
7for he is our God
and we are the people of his pasture,
the flock under his care.
Today, if only you would hear his voice,
8“Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah,
as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness,
9where your ancestors tested me;
they tried me, though they had seen what I did.
10For forty years I was angry with that generation;
I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray,
and they have not known my ways.’
11So I declared on oath in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”

–Psalm 95

So let’s close with today’s reading from the New Testament and reflect on what it has to say…Let’s believe and be saved!

Jesus Greater Than Moses

1Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest. 2He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all Godʼs house. 3Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. 4For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. 5“Moses was faithful as a servant in all Godʼs house,” bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future. 6But Christ is faithful as the Son over Godʼs house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.
Warning Against Unbelief
7So, as the Holy Spirit says:

“Today, if you hear his voice,
8do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion,
during the time of testing in the wilderness,
9where your ancestors tested and tried me,
though for forty years they saw what I did.
10That is why I was angry with that generation;
I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray,
and they have not known my ways.’
11So I declared on oath in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”

12See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sinʼs deceitfulness. 14We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. 15As has just been said:

“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion.”

16Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? 17And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? 18And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? 19So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief.

–Hebrews 3
