Will you be prepared? Will you have decided before it is too late? Will you be ready for the day? Is your name in the book of life? Have you accepted Jesus into your heart? Have you invited Him to be your Lord and Savior? Will you understand? Will you be part of God’s family adopted thru Christ Jesus? Don’t boast! Don’t brag! Don’t be so proud that you will be tricked or trapped by the lies of the devil! We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus! Will you be saved when Jesus calls? Will you be challenged because you weren’t ready for the day of Christ and need to experience the trials and the troubles before the day of the Lord?
Have you considered the end times? The times of the wrath? Do you realize the authority that will take place? Do you realize the rulers that will live in and thru that time? Do you see what is yet to come? Do you see the things that will happen in those days? Do you know the truth? The truth will set you free! Will you take hold of the truth now! Will you walk in the truth now before it is too late and before you are swayed from it?
Let’s choose to love God with all of our heart, all of our mind, all of our soul, and all of our strength! Let’s choose to ask Jesus into our hearts and seek His wisdom and walk in the truth! Not sure what to do? Call upon the Lord! All of your days put your trust in Him! He will save you, He is gracious and merciful! Trust in the Lord with all your heart! Let’s give Him thanks daily! Let’s praise Him in the way we live our lives! Praise the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me! We who receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we have the benefit of Jesus sitting at the right hand of the Father interceding for you and me.
As we conclude today, let’s read together from Hebrews 1…
Godʼs Final Word: His Son
1In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3The Son is the radiance of Godʼs glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
The Son Superior to Angels
5For to which of the angels did God ever say,
“You are my Son;
today I have become your Father”?
“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son”?
6And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,
“Let all Godʼs angels worship him.”
7In speaking of the angels he says,
“He makes his angels spirits,
and his servants flames of fire.”
8But about the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.”
10He also says,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
11They will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
12You will roll them up like a robe;
like a garment they will be changed.
But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.”
13To which of the angels did God ever say,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet”?
14Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
