Ever had someone try to put limits or restrictions on you because of your age?

Ever had someone try to criticize you because you are too young? You are too young to be able to …? You can do that yet because you aren’t old enough? Don’t believe the lie! You are being watched just like everyone else everyday! No matter your age, you are able to set an example for those around you! No matter your age, you can be a leader to those around you! No matter your age, you can share the truth, the hope, and the love that is in you!

Today’s reading starts in this area with Timothy…

12Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 13Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. 14Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. 15Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. 16Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.

–from 1 Timothy 4

God created you on purpose for a purpose! God has given you gifts and talents to help you complete the purpose for which He has created you! Take those gifts and those talents and multiply them! Takes those gifts and talents and invest them into the lives God has brought around you! Don’t waste them, but rather be a good steward of them! Immerse yourself in them so that many may see them and give praise to Your Father in Heaven! You are who you are and with those gifts and talents God has give you, the truth of Jesus will not only save you, but will be a message you can share so that many other lives can be saved too!

Today’s reading (day 5) puts it this way…

It can be so easy to believe the lie that you are too young to do great things. But that’s just not true. You, right now today, have the ability to set an example for EVERYONE

in your life. You can make a difference, and you don’t need to wait until you’re older, wiser, or more mature. God will use you now as you are. So, live up to what God is calling you to and who He has made you to be. Give yourself to those things entirely. If you do, you will see God do amazing, awesome, and exciting things in and through your

life. Go and live life enjoying God, who He has made you to be. Glorify Him with all you have and all you are.
