We are all facing decisions.  Did you get knocked down? Did you fall? Did you trip? Get back up! We face of the decision on how many times will we get back up! Don’t give up! Keeping getting back up! In this world we will have troubles, but take heart Jesus has overcome the world! Get back up again!

We are called to be free! We have been created with freewill. But just because we have been given such a gift doesn’t mean we should abuse it. Don’t let your physical desires control you. Instead, let love make you serve one another for the whole Law is summed up in one commandment: “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” But if you act like wild animals, hurting and harming each other, then watch out, or you will completely destroy one another. Take a look at what is going on in the world around you. Let’s be lights of love that shine and draw others into the light and into LOVE!

There is a battle taking place. Not only all around us, but also within us. The battle of the fleshly desires versus the spirit. The human nature versus the nature of the spirit.

Let the Spirit direct your lives, and you will not satisfy the desires of the human nature. 17For what our human nature wants is opposed to what the Spirit wants, and what the Spirit wants is opposed to what our human nature wants. These two are enemies, and this means that you cannot do what you want to do. 18If the Spirit leads you, then you are not subject to the Law. 19What human nature does is quite plain. It shows itself in immoral, filthy, and indecent actions; 20in worship of idols and witchcraft. People become enemies and they fight; they become jealous, angry, and ambitious. They separate into parties and groups; 21they are envious, get drunk, have orgies, and do other things like these. I warn you now as I have before: those who do these things will not possess the Kingdom of God. 22But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these. 24And those who belong to Christ Jesus have put to death their human nature with all its passions and desires. 25The Spirit has given us life; he must also control our lives. 26We must not be proud or irritate one another or be jealous of one another.  — from Galatians 5

Yes we may get tripped up in this battle, but don’t give up! Yes we are but human but let’s work to become more like Jesus by walking in alignment and obedience to the Spirit. Let’s be lead by the Spirit. Let’s not allow our nature cause us to fall or stumble by becoming envious, drunk, or any other things that would lead us off track. Rather, let’s produce the fruits of the spirit…LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, HUMILITY, AND SELF-CONTROL! There are no laws against any of these and so we can live in the benefits.

So to get started, let’s Praise the Lord, all nations! Praise him, all peoples! His love for us is strong, and his faithfulness is eternal. Praise the Lord!
