Don’t be afraid when God is on your side.

When God is for you who can be against you?

God is our light in this dark world. God is our salvation from its attacks and challenges.

God is our strength even in our own weaknesses when His strength is shown ever more.

With God on our side, there is nothing to fear.

It’s all about perspective…Considering where you are at how are you looking at things? What is your viewpoint on the situation? What information or viewpoint are you missing as you look at the current situation? Whose viewpoint can you get to get a better perspective on the situation? Who can you approach and talk to and trust to share your thoughts and hear their perspective? Do you have other believers you can talk to? Do you have other people who have walked through something similar and can speak to their experience (no matter where it lead – to stay or to go)? Are you seeking God through this? Are you allowing His Word to speak to you? Are you allowing the positive influence of worship music to shine into your day? What are you using to fill up the tank? Life my be draining it, so what are you going to do to fill it up to get the day started, to keep the day going, and to get you home with something in the tank for your family time?

What are you doing with what you have been given? Are you faithful with what you have been given? Can you be trusted? Don’t give up for perseverance produces character! Are others blessed because you are part of their lives? Do you give or bless others consistently? Not a one time thing but a daily sign of love? Being a good steward allows for you to come and step in and share with your Master’s happiness. It’s never too late to change or to start. “Even if you haven’t been consistent in the past, today can be a new day to change your story.

Don’t lose your saltiness for then what?
Be someone who is impacting their world.
Don’t let it work the other way around
where the world is impacting you!
Let’s run to God and get refueled.
Let’s turn to God and be filled with
wisdom.
Let’s wait upon God
that we radiate His light, His love, His life
to all those around us.
Let’s seek God’s
face for visions of how we can be salt to this world.

Day 23: Stewardship

by Steven Welch

“The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did, Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.” – Genesis 39:2-5

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” – Matthew 25:21

“… today can be a new day to change your story”

Heavenly Father,
I thank You for this new day and for all that was in it. I praise You Lord for being the alpha and omega, the beginning and the
end. I praise You Lord for allowing me to hear the heart of the leaders. I praise You Lord for helping me to seek wisdom through Your Word and through others who You have put into my life. I am so thankful that You have blessed me with an incredible wife and set of children. I am so thankful for a church family that love You, preaches and teaches about You through Your Word. Help me today to accomplish what You have for me today. Help me to speak hope and love of God into the lives of those around me. Help me to be Your light. Help me to be Your salt. And that others lives will be better today because of Your hand working in and through me. May every thought, every word, and every action give you the praise, the honor, and the glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
