GOD HAS A PERFECT PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE!

When you receive Jesus into
your heart
God begins a process
within you and will continue
that work
of making you more like Jesus until He returns.

The great thing is that
God started the work in us
and will continue
to refine and build us up
into the person God
has planned for us to be.
It isn’t all based on us
being perfect,
but on Him being perfect
and continuing that work
and process
in our lives
until it has been completed.

"God has perfect a plan for your life!" We’ve all heard that phrase, but I don’t think many of us really believe it. Maybe it’s the word "perfect" that troubles us. For most of us, perfection isn’t even remotely involved.

Perfection seems impossible. And guess what? It is!

God’s plan isn’t perfect because we’re perfect. The plan is perfect because God is the One who designed it. The perfection comes from Him and Him alone. He knows us better than we know ourselves, and He has designed and set into action a plan specifically engineered for our lives.

Paul tells us in Philippians 1:6 that God saved us and started a good work in us, and His work in us will come to full completion.

As we think about God at work in us, we must remind ourselves that as imperfect as we are, God is perfection. Nothing we can ever do will be good enough to satisfy God’s perfection. Only Jesus, the Perfect One, is good enough. And because we are in Christ, God’s perfect plan is possible for us!

God’s Perfect Plan for You

6 And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Philippians 1:6

Prayer Starter: (from today’s devotional)

Dear Lord, I know that I am not perfect, but thankfully Your plan for me depends on Your perfection, not mine. Thank You so much for developing a good work within me. I trust You to complete it.

Heavenly Father,
I thank You for this celebration Sunday, to celebrate Easter, and Jesus raising from the dead – the empty tomb, and the fact is now up in Heaven preparing a place for me, interceding with You on my behalf. Lord, You know where I am at today. You know how I am feeling and that I will need all the strength You can give me today along with wisdom and discernment to make it. Help me Lord to stand up to this challenges of the day and walk in the strength and faith that comes because of my hope and trust in You. Lord, You know how rough I have been feeling these last couple of day but have been press in and pressing forward in order to glorify You. Help me Lord today to get the rest and restoration I need after each of the 3 services today at church. Lord, I lift up the worship team from vocals and instruments to dancer and all of the tech team. It is only by Your grace that we will be able to bring it all together to bring You all the praise, the honor, and the glory. Please Lord send power through Your Holy Spirit that today Jesus will be lifted up and glorified in every service and people’s lives will be transformed for ever as they start their walk into eternity with You and Lord we will give You all the praise, the honor, and the glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Fearful to Fearless

The reward for humility and fear of the LORD is riches and honor and life.

Proverbs 22:4 (ESV)

Biblical Truth:

We humble ourselves before the greatness of God and receive His riches, comfort and life in this world as much and for as long as He wishes, and look forward to the fulfillment of His promise of eternal life in the next.
